
Light vehicles are primarily responsible for transporting troops or equipment quickly and safely. They break down walls to create breach points, create hard cover or smoke screens for infantry, and provide light fire support when needed.
A. Light vehicle driving
This section covers the very basics of coordinated driving within a larger battlefield.
B. Light vehicle gunning
This section covers the basics of vehicle gunning, including concepts such as overlapping field of fire and how best to position those fields in a convoy or other organized setting.
C. Vehicle repairs, refueling and rearming (ACE)
This covers the basics of maintaining a vehicle, be it a light car or main battle tank.
D. Convoy Operations
Finally, this section covers operating in a convoy, including both the previous fundamentals of driving and gunning, as well as convoy communications, route planning, and decision making during vehicle-based combat engagements.
Test
Complete a convoy route. This involves both planning and execution. The course will include live-fire exercises and both planned and unplanned dismounts. Damage to one or more vehicles may occur and should be overcome.
