Weapons Teams

Weapons teams are extremely vulnerable at close and while on the move but can provide devastating firepower from a fixed position. Weapons teams are typically comprised of 3 people and operate at the squad or platoon level. They perform exceptionally well at locking down large areas from an entrenched location.

Mortar (MOR)

Mortar teams can provide indirect fire from up to 4 kilometers with an 82mm mortar. Given enough ammunition, mortars can indefinitely suppress and bombard enemy locations with high explosive or smoke shells, allowing friendly units to move easily. Mortars are also very good at eliminating entrenched positions and static weapons.

TL: Responsible for team communications and decision making. Coordinates calls for fire and directs the team.

MOR: Carries the mortar tube. Makes calculations and operates the mortar.

AMOR: Carries the mortar bipod.  Loads rounds as the gunner fires and maintains security of the team.

Heavy Machine Gun (HMG) & Grenade Machine Gun (GMG)

HMGs and GMGs such as the M2 and the MK19 provide heavy direct fire support against infantry, structures, and lightly armored vehicles. These weapons can be difficult to transport and set up, but they should not be underestimated.

Heavy Anti Tank (HAT)

Heavy Anti Tank teams utilize shoulder-fired and static missile launchers capable of destroying heavily armored main battle tanks. These launchers are wire-guided or lock-on and can engage targets at significant distances.
